San Diego Truck N' Brews |
---|
Craft Breweries awakened in the 2000's, and San Diego may have been the genesis, as San Diego has been considered the Craft Beer Capital of America by many. Around 1989, Karl Strauss Brewing Company was the first craft brewery to open in San Diego. The brewery introduced new beer styles to San Diego, like the Amber Lager and Pale Ale. Karl Strauss is still active today in San Diego and many of their original workers went on to start their own breweries. Today, there are over 130 brewers in San Diego. You can see a complete list here.
Food Truck Connector (FTC) is local to San Diego and has checked out the brewery scene personally. A number of breweries rotate food trucks. These breweries are displayed on this page in the map above. Just click on any of the breweries in the panel and you will be taken to the map location of the brewery. Click on the brewer from the map location and you will be taken to the brewer's website.
For those brewers with shareable public food truck calendars, FTC also displays which food truck will be at the brewery. Unlike a restaurant, food trucks can give variety to the brewer menu when the brewer rotates different food trucks through the brewery every day!
There are a number of breweries that rotate food trucks every day: the most popular are Helix Brewing in La Mesa, Thorn Brewery in North Park, and Second Chance Brewery in Carmel Mountain. Check out this page and the brewers website to find which food trucks will be at a brewery near you.
You might want to have one of the food trucks that frequent these breweries show up at your house or at an event you are organizing. No problem. Just click on Request Catering below and we will try to get the food truck at your event!
